Designing
Instructed by: CreativeKids

Our partner in this area, CreativeKids, has established itself as the prime art and design educator in Hong Kong since 1991.It is continuing to expand to fulfill its mission of providing every child with quality art and design education.
Their expertise in transforming school environments through creative display of students’ artwork, and engaging parents and teachers in the process, plus ample experience in teachers training by working with schools, making them the right match in this area.
Their passion in developing children through art can be further illustrated by the founder, Angelina Lo’s current PhD research study at the School of Design, Polytechnic University:“Every Child is a Design Thinker: Exploring Ways to Integrate Design Thinking in Art Education for Children and Youth in Hong Kong.” This project will certainly form part of her study, which will help provide useful research evidence for the project as well.
Feeling excited that this project allows underprivileged children to access to their services and ideas, Angie suggests to have ‘designing’ as this part of the learning by doing, which involves feeling, observing, living, thinking and art integration. This will enhance the creativity of children, teachers, and parents collectively, with projects involving all stakeholders in the school.
