One of EDiversity’s volunteers, Dr. Masa Leung, herself a long time educator, a recent Doctor of Education graduate (Other Learning Experiences implementation) and has extensive teaching experience and network in the education field in schools, universities and the government, has connected us with the Holm Glad No. 2 school, in which she works as a freelance curriculum consultant. She connects with us because she sees a compatibility in our work and the school’s vision. In the last two years, EDiversity has come to know many like-minded people and continues to expand this network. So when we call them up, they all responded positively and are enthusiastic about this precious opportunity to bring a positive change to local education.
Jockey Club's 3 years funding
This is a ground-breaking project and we believe that no local school has done before, at least in this breadth and intensity, adoption of assessment and teaching modes, and level of collaboration. To succeed, we need the funding to provide necessary conversion of rooms, rooftop, teaching and learning materials, but most importantly, the right people, the most difficult to get and most expensive resource. Therefore, our project will not be possible without the Jockey Club’s 3 years funding.
